I found this article, “What Is It About 20-Somethings?” to be so interesting. This quote stood out to me- I get so frustrated by my peers that coast along, living off their parents, while they “get established.” But as much as I want to blame my generation, you have to stop and look at how we’ve been raised. If we aren’t being told “no, you can’t move home,” like our parents were at 18, why would we feel the pressure to get on our own two feet at a young age?

I understand why a lot of people found the article offensive- “we aren’t lazy!” “what are they saying?! I work!” but I think it provides a really awesome perspective into our society’s shift toward “starting life later.”
