With the unemployement rates announced today at record highs, and several friends & family members still unable to find work, I’ve been feeling especially lucky to be employed. So I thought I’d take a second to outline why I’m so lucky to have my awesome job, even just for one day.
Today I:
- Had really good coffee to start the day because our office manager DOMINATES at ordering Kerio cups (Southern Pecan! Kahlua! Chocolate Donut! Hazelnut Cream!).
- Had authentic Italian pizza (and cheesecake) for lunch becuase we are spoiled and our office caters lunch for us every single day.
- Made more then one client really happy (!!!) anyone in PR & advertising knows how awesome that is.
- Managed to end the week feeling like I was productive and helpful.
- Got to poke around the blogosphere, Twitter, and Facebook, for research.
- Got to spend some time this afternoon researching BlenderBikes. For a client. They are awesome.
- May be actually building a blender bike. Or watching my boss try to build one.
- You can’t really beat researching BlenderBikes on a Friday afternoon so I’ll end with that and share the video.
