Maybe it’s the heat getting to me but this afternoon I found myself craving this. And by this I mean crunchy leaves, heavy pumpkins that look like they’re about to burst, hot cider, scarves fresh out of boxes, candy corn, kids in wool hats, boots, cold crisp air, the sound of crows, and the general quietness that comes with autumn.
I know there will be days that I will miss this but right now I want a little orange…

I have been craving Fall since the end of my summer vacation to Florida. Fall is my favorite season. You’re never hot or cold, all of New England is a beautiful explosion of warm reds, oranges, and yellows, and apples are ripe for the picking.
Autumn is when I most appreciate living in Connecticut.
