Lately I’ve been wearing the same rotation of items in some combination to both work and on the weekends. I’ve basically come to the realization that I should buy nothing but quality t’s, blazers, and scarves since I swear some combo of that daily.
1. Cole Haan Air Whitley boots: Most flat boots leave my heels sore after a full day because they are just so…flat. But these have the Nike Air technology hidden in the soles and they are so. comfortable. Even after a full day of walking. The leather is thick and the calves are actually stretchy, so they will fit anyone perfectly.
2. JCrew Dolci T-Shirt: The most perfectly loose, long, basic tee. Looks equally awesome under a blazer as it does with jeans. I just ordered it in two more colors with an extra 30% off final sale.
3. Rachel Nasvik Phoebe Bag: I am so glad I kept this. I ended up loving the color… it’s a fantastic shade of deep whiskey brown. After using it for a week I cannot imagine a better bag. The feet on the bottom keep it off the ground, and the outside zippers hide the perfect little pockets for sunglasses and my phone. The leather is going to wear like a dream, I can already tell. Get yourself one.
4. Lululemon Vinyasa Scarf: So warm, zero itch, and converts into a million different styles. I wear it just as much for work as I do for yoga.
5. A single gold ring: My mom gave me a bunch of old gold to sell a couple of years ago, including her old wedding band. I have totally come to terms with the divorce, but I just couldn’t part with it. I’m big on karma so I’d never use it as a wedding band, but I recently had it resized for my middle finger and I love the simplicity— I think it looks so chic (pats self on back). Cupcakes and Cashmere recently posted about wearing a single gold ring (way to steal my fire, famous blogger girl!) and it reminded me to post about mine. Cute fun way to wear a family momento.
What are you loving lately? Anything I need?
J Crew Dolci scoop neck tee, $78
Cole haan Air Whitley boots, $220
Satomi Kawakita gold jewelry, $230
Lululemon Vinyasa Scarf, $32
Rachel Nasvik Phoebe Bag $365

I almost always wear my great grandmother’s wedding band. It’s white gold and just a thin simple band that is bezelled all the way around. It’s really simple but just perfect.

Re the tee: have you noticed any tiny holes appearing as you wear it? I LOVE J Crew’s vintage t fabric, but every single shirt had at least one tiny hole appear (typically near seams or the waist) within a few wears. Is Dolci cut from a finer cloth?
