I’m going on a tour of the Thomas Hooker Brewery in Bloomfield, Conn. with Chris and our friends JR and Bridget. For $5.00, you get a tour of the brewery and a tasting of all of their beers. Then, if you like what you taste, you can pick up a 64 oz. jug of your favorite, brewery fresh, to take home.
Their Watermelon Ale has been a smash hit this summer- think Jolly Rancher meets an IPA. I’m on the fence about the Watermelon, but their Pale Ale is Chris’ favorite.
