Then I went to lunch with Linds to celebrate her very belated bday. We’ve both been so busy, it was awesome to catch up. We ate lunch at Grants in West Hartford Center. As much as the recession is a serious fun killer, it also has some perks. Case in point, me and Linds being able to eat a really, really great meal at Grants with drinks for less then $40. They’ve done some serious price reducing- and I can testify that the patio has been much more full since they’ve done so. Oh, and those electric green drinks were CUCUMBER MARTINIS. So random, they were made with gin and champagne, cuke juice (obvi) and rimmed with salt. They were actually super tasty and refreshing. Plus the color was so fun a local photag stopped to snap a shot.
