I have found the most perfect, insanely perfect, fur companion. He is so perfect, he destroyed all negetive feelings and fears I had after my awful rescue-attempt debacle (hence why I am now going with a pure-bred). The second I saw him I just KNEW he was the one. His name came to me in an instant.
However, I hadn’t planned on bringing home baby until the spring and was only calling...

Thanksgiving is the top holiday in my family - there are 36 in all and all of us get together one holiday a year for the giving of thanks, turkey, stuffing and a lot of wine!
Tomorrow The Initials, Montauk and I pack up and head into NYC to begin the festivities. Dinner with friends is on deck and I couldn’t be more excited!

McLadden's Irish Publick House
Attn: McLadden Restaurant Group
It has come to my attention, via Google Analytics, that a pretty cute number of humans have found out about McLadden’s via MegBurns.com. That means I’m helping you! Word is spreading like wildfire!
I’ve heard kindness is best reciprocated. What are your thoughts on gifting me entrance to the Founder’s Club as a naughty little thank you?...
Holiday Invites!
My roomie and I are hosting a wine swap Holiday Fete in mid-December. Being the old-ladies-stuck-in-twenty-three-year-old-bodies that we are, we want to go classy and send out actual invitations in the mail.
That’s right. We’re boycotting the tack-tastic Facebook. There is something so much more formal (and personal) about addressing and mailing each invitation instead of clicking on...
You know whats annoying? People that take your blog posts, blatently copy them, and give no credit. Ideas count too.
Just because I don’t follow you doesn’t mean I don’t notice. Actually, I probably don’t follow you because all you post is reblogs and copied content.
On another note, I don’t write anything earth shattering, so copying me probably isn’t going...

Chris: I thought of it an hour ago when I was raking
Chris: play it
Chris: and picture it
I hope that all my readers that don't know Chris can still appreciate his humor. He is insane.
Little birdies told me that a fun little kitty kat ya’ll have seen mentioned on my blog has started her very own tumblr. Deets (and lots of pics of sparkly pretty things) to come!

At a standstill
I’ve been coping with the loss of my grandfather for almost two weeks. I think, based on the counsel I’ve recieved from friends and family, that I’m doing pretty good. It’s normal, I’m learning, to be fine one moment and then devastated with sadness the next.
But I think I’m doing ok. I’m moving forward. It’s hard. I post about a social event or new...
